Dr. Jordan Rice, DVM with Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital, received his Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. He has been a practicing veterinarian now for the past four years.
Dr. Rice grew up in Poplar Bluff, MO, and has always loved animals. He was drawn to veterinary medicine from working with animals daily and supporting the human-animal bond. His interests vary from companion animals to exotic medicine, and he has a special passion for surgery.

When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Rice can often be found exploring the outdoors, playing piano, or relaxing on a cruise. A passionate exotic animal veterinarian, Dr. Rice has a particular love for reptiles—especially snakes. He shares his home with a diverse collection of species, including Ball Pythons, Carpet Pythons, Boas, Bearded Dragons, and Red-Eared Slider Turtles. His deep knowledge and enthusiasm for reptile care make him a trusted resource for exotic pet owners. Alongside his scaly companions, Dr. Rice is also a proud pet parent to five dogs and a cat: Nova, a Miniature Schnauzer; Gerdi, a Giant Schnauzer; Priss his senior Pug; Bruce, a Golden Retriever; Twitch a French bulldog; and Vita, a Torti cat.
